The Expanse season 4 video: Go behind the scenes with the cast!

The Expanse season 4 is going to premiere on Amazon in the new year, and it goes without saying this is exciting! After all, remember that for a brief period of time, this show was canceled and didn’t have a future. Yet, the streaming service stepped in soon afterwards and now, the series is going to be coming back with new episodes.

New York Comic-Con is the sort of venue that feels perfect for a show like this; unfortunately, The Expanse was not able to make it this year … but they have a good reason. In the new video below, you can see some of the cast members on the show’s set, where they are hard at work making new episodes happen. They all give thanks to the fans for allowing them to come back, and you can feel some of the excitement in the room over getting a chance to do this show again.

Does this video give away too much in terms of what lies ahead? Not exactly, at least not other than a new costume and a few new looks (plus some concept art). It’s far too early still for there to be some sort of official trailer out there, but this is clearly Amazon showing that they want to do whatever they can to get the word out about The Expanse early. Their goal here is likely trying to see if they can expand the support base a little bit to make sure that it grows and gets more popular as we get closer to the upcoming season premiering. That way, Amazon can help to ensure that they can do a season 5, which is certainly something we imagine a number of people wanting.

(Of course, we imagine that we’re getting a tad ahead of ourselves here — just getting a fourth season of this series is a cause for celebration in itself.)
