Survivor: David vs. Goliath episode 3: Five players to watch

Moving into Survivor: David vs. Goliath episode 3, who are some of the people we’re the most interested in seeing? We’re back with another edition in our weekly series, where we break down the future for these players based 1) on where they are in the game and 2) what we’ve seen in the previews so far. This is a fun season so far, especially since we got a big blindside in episode 2 and maybe hurt feelings because of that.

Carl (David) – He was one of our favorite pre-game players, mostly because he felt so down-to-earth and authentic. He also feels like an old-school player and we like a few of those a season. He’s lost two allies in two weeks and the previews make him seem like he’s a bit emotional. Can he handle the changes to his game?

Jeremy (Goliath) – He’s a smart, savvy guy who now has this new information in Dan’s idol. What is he going to do about it? That’s one of the biggest threads worth following on this tribe, even if they are fairly dominant at the moment in the game.

Lyrsa (David) – She just got her first big taste of victory in the game in that she kept herself safe from being voted out. That’s the sort of thing that could give her confidence … but will that lead to overconfidence? That’s what we have to wait to find out?

Natalie (Goliath) – It’s hard to imagine a time coming up when she is not on this list just because of the way that she has played so far. She’s been very aggressive and at times abrasive. Because of all of that, it’s fairly possible that she doesn’t have a lot of friends out there. Can she save herself?

Gabby (David) – Finally, let’s go back to someone who we think is one of the most interesting swing votes right now. She’s ultimately one of the driving forces behind Jessica’s elimination, but has she really turned her back on working with Carl, Davie, and Bi? That could determine some of where the season goes.
