NCIS season 16 episode 3 preview: Who gets a little starstruck?

For those of you who love NCIS when it is exploring it’s comedic side then season 16 episode 3 next week could provide that very thing for you. This is, after all, an episode that features a reality TV star who has a rather-big fan with one particular member of the team. As you would imagine, there is some hilarity that will ensue here, but you do still need to remember that this is a mystery show with characters who find their lives in danger all the time. That is still going to be an essential part of the narrative.

For a little more information on all of the finer particulars of episode 3 (entitled “Boom”), we have the season 16 episode 3 synopsis below:

“Boom” – One of the NCIS agents is starstruck after the team investigates an explosion outside the home of Navy Petty Officer First Class Todd Nicholas (Cameron Radice) and his wife, popular reality TV star Sheba Nicholas (Tara Holt). Also, Vance continues physical therapy for the injuries sustained when he was held hostage, on NCIS, Tuesday, Oct. 9 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The thing we’re most excited to learn going into this episode is precisely who the agent is that is starstruck. While on the surface McGee feels like the perfect candidate, we’d especially find it funny if it was Torres. There’s always something fun about defying expectations for certain characters, and the preconceived notion with Torres is that he is some tough-guy rebel who breaks the rules.

As for Vance, we just hope that he continues to find a way to get better — after all, he has certainly been through quite a bit to date!
