NCIS: New Orleans season 5 episode 1 sneak peek: Aftermath of Pride’s shooting
At the end of the recent season 4 finale, we saw Dwayne Pride placed in jeopardy due in part to Amelia, who fired off some bullets in his direction. The scene we have for you below virtually picks up almost immediately where the finale left off. LaSalle found Pride mere seconds after being shot, and was able to catch Amelia fleeing the scene. While Sebastian Lund stayed behind in order to care for Pride, we then saw LaSalle do everything that he can in order to track Amelia down and bring her to justice.

This is about as intense of a sneak peek as you’re going to find for the upcoming season, and it also manages to end in a rather-dramatic way: With Amelia being struck by a car. The driver has no idea that she’s an assassin though, and tries to help her. That’s all we see, but we’re already very much afraid of Amelia jumping up, stealing the guy’s car, and then driving away before LaSalle can bring her in. That allows us to have even more drama the rest of the premiere.
As for what else is coming up tomorrow night, be prepared for a small appearance from Mark Harmon as Gibbs checks in on Pride, and we’re also hoping to get a good sense as to what his shooting really means in terms of the short-term future of the team. They’re going to need some help while he recovers.
