Supergirl season 4: Funko finally reveals Pop vinyl figure

Supergirl season 3 episode 13

For those of you who have been desperately wanting to see a Supergirl Pop figure, the fine folks at Funko are finally delivering!

As you can see via the Twitter post below, Supergirl is one of the New York Comic-Con exclusives coming to New York Comic-Con next month — for those who aren’t at the convention, have no fear: The figure will also be available at Barnes & Noble. This helps to correct something that’s been an injustice for a rather long time now, and that is the lack of Funko Pop figures based on the show.

Yet, we do still wish that there were more out there in circulation. Why not release some of these in the way that you have for The Flash and Arrow? We’d love for there to be figures out there for Alex Danvers, J’onn J’onzz, Lena Luthor, Winn Schott (even if he’s not on the show anymore), James as Guardian, and many other familiar faces. Heck, we’d also love for there to be some Legends of Tomorrow love out there, beyond some of the ones that they released back during the first season. (After all, White Canary and The Atom are the only two characters there are figures of among the current cast — Firestorm and Hawkman are not a part of the group.)

Hopefully, some of this will change in the future — we should also note that Killer Frost is also going to be an exclusive figures, which we hope is just one of many released for The Flash and some of its female characters. They’ve been grossly under-represented, really to the point where some of the cast has spoken out about it.

Supergirl season 4 will premiere on The CW soon, and in its new timeslot on Sunday nights starting in October.
