NCIS: New Orleans season 5 episode 2 will be Necar Zadegan’s debut

NCIS: New Orleans season 5 episode 2, airing on CBS come October 2, is going to be a big episode. After all, this will mark the first appearance of Necar Zadegan as Special Agent Hannah Khoury, who is going to be a significant addition to the team moving forward.

As for how she is going to arrive on the scene, much of it has to do with Dwayne Pride being on medical leave. The series is doing the right thing in taking what happened with Pride seriously. After all, it would be kind-of weird if the character was to suddenly be better even a few months after being shot. The physical recovery will take some time and, more than likely, the emotional recovery will take much longer. This is going to be something that takes the series a little bit of time in order to figure it out.

Below, the NCIS: New Orleans season 5 episode 2 synopsis does offer up a little more information regarding how Hannah arrives and the case that she is going to be working on:

“Inside Out” – As the team searches for a former IRA bomb-maker who was smuggled into the city, they are joined by Special Agent Hannah Khoury (Necar Zadegan), Pride’s replacement during his medical leave. Also, Pride considers a new position with the agency, on NCIS: NEW ORLEANS, Tuesday, Oct. 2 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Shanley Caswell guest stars as Laurel Pride.

Could Laurel help Pride in some capacity in order to figure out his future? Well, we think that she will probably try to put things into perspective for him that he shouldn’t keep putting himself in danger. Yet, this is who he is, and we’re not entirely sure that he will be anything different moving forward. That’s one interesting story point that we look forward to seeing.
