Power season 5 finale: Will Keisha stay, or run away?

The Power season 5 finale holds many different questions, but one that we haven’t perhaps touched on as much as we should is simply this: How is Keisha going to react to her situation? She’s been with a man in Tommy who is absolutely dangerous, and for a period of time, the love that she had for him may have been enough to mask some of the man he truly is.

Yet, we’re starting to get to a point where there’s no masking that anymore. Tommy’s true self is coming out more, and she’s found herself in a position where her voice matters in some of the legal drama far more than it once did.

So where does Keisha go moving into the finale? Is she going to figure out that now is the time for her to get out of town, or will she dive in deeper and be more aware as to what’s truly going on? There’s a good chance that we could have more information on this one way or another during the finale.

Speaking to TV Guide, show executive producer Gary Lennon had the following to say on the subject:

“The question the audience is asking that we’re going to answer next season is, ‘If you were in love with someone like Tommy what would you do? Would you dive in or would you walk away?'”

This episode, for Tommy, is going to feature at least some of the aftermath to him killing his own father … which, as you would imagine, is not the sort of thing that you really get past easily. It’s going to stick with him, and that’s something that you should watch out for throughout the rest of the series.
