Power season 5 finale: How dangerous is Angela going to be?
While we know that there are a lot of dangling threads out there, whether it be Tommy’s next move, Tariq’s attempts to become more like his father, or the mysterious status of one Terry Silver, Angela and Ghost are in our mind at the center of everything. Angela could sell Ghost out right and the world would suddenly become so much less chaotic … but is she really willing to do that? This is what the finale is going to give us an answer to over the course of the upcoming hour.

Angela has a decision to make regarding Ghost, but we don’t imagine her just deciding to flip on him like it’s no big deal. Instead, executive producer Gary Lennon describes the character’s current state to TVLine:
Angela is really conflicted. She really is our white hat, originally, and that white has obviously been tarnished and turned gray by some of her actions. So there’s really moral ambiguity in her … At the end of the day, Angela is not unlike Ghost in that they’re going to do what’s best in order to serve themselves or protect what they love, and Angela has proven that. I think she’s very dangerous.”
In the end, maybe it’s Angela who takes on more of a mirror image to Ghost in the finale as opposed to Tariq. She’s always found a way to shift suspicion off of her, but what if she’s in too deep now? Is there a way for her to be a part of this world even if she doesn’t have a job as a prosecutor? These are some of the things that we’re curious to find out, if the opportunity presents itself.
Power is in a lot of ways about corruption, and over the course of the series, we’ve seen more and more people slip into areas that are morally gray. By the end of the finale, it’s easy to imagine that people like Angela will be fully steeped in darkness.
