Absentia season 2 and more fun in Bulgaria
Basically, what we think we’re going to get in the weeks ahead are some fun little teases of the gang together, such as the one posted below by Angel Bonanni (who plays Tommy on the series) shared below via Instagram. You can see here him having some fun with Stana Katic and others — given that Absentia can certainly be one of the darkest series on the air, we do think that there is a need to have to balance some of this super-dark story with also things that are a little more fun when the cameras stop rolling.
Also, we do imagine that there is probably a feeling of live-in-the-moment that comes when you’re far away from home. Absentia is an international series and, even though it is set in America, many of its actors come from all over the world. It’s a fun opportunity to get everyone together in order to work on something that is different, exciting, and above all else challenging. That’s something that many actors look for.
Of course, expectations are high for season 2 and we imagine many spoilers will be hidden along the way. Don’t worry, as we have no intention to ruin anything in the months to come — we like to watch and take in the element of surprise as much as anyone!
