Of course, most of the irony we sense with this episode comes via the title. Is there ever going to be a time in which any of this is ever over? We have a really time imagining that this is going to be the case. It seems like every time it feels like a problem is solved within the world of Power, another one rises to the surface. It poses a number of similar challenges, but often in different forms. Basically, it’s hard to imagine a version of this show where Angela’s job is even remotely secure or Ghost feels as though he’s not about to be targeted by either police or people who want to kill him.
Below, the Power season 5 finale synopsis offers up some more insight as to what you can expect to see.
When the RICO case comes crashing down, Angela breaks ranks to form her own A-team. LaKeisha takes a stand of her own while Ghost, Tommy, Tasha, and Angela race against the clock to prove their innocence…but to what end?
It’s possible that all of our main characters end up safe and out of prison at the end of the episode, but one of the things we’ve certainly come to learn here is that there is a price for everything. Their freedom could come with consequences.
