Big Brother 20 live feed spoilers: The JC bathroom incident (day 72)
This time around, we’re speaking out an incident in which JC opened the door on Haleigh while she was in the bathroom, and then held it there until Haleigh started to call for production. Sam yelled at him after the fact for it, and we’re assuming that production did as well. (Feeds were down for a couple of minutes after the incident.) JC tried to claim later that Haleigh was just trying to pull a prank on him in the bathroom and was fully clothed, but if that were really the case, why would she call for production?

Anyway, we feel like we’ve made our stance on JC clear for a while now: He’s a person who simply does not care about anyone’s boundaries. It’s not an issue of him not being aware as to what’s offensive and what’s not anymore; even if you’re one of the people who wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt the first time, this is far from the first time and he’s either said or done so much more beyond the pale. Yet, the dude is still in the house and there are going to be a lot of people scared at yelling at him in fear of losing a jury vote. It’s another reason why we feel that production should have just stepped in and booted him the first time. Sure, JC will be punished by Twitter outside the house, but the show is still giving him a pass for a lot of the stuff — we almost wish someone would call him out during the live show so that the part of America that doesn’t watch the live feeds knows what he did.
The crummiest thing of all about JC is that inevitably, when he gets out of the house and sees all of the reaction to what he’s doing he’s probably going to claim that he was “just joking” and that everyone out there is simply taking things too seriously. He’s not going to get it, much like he hasn’t gotten anything this season. That’s why we would’ve just booted him weeks ago — these aren’t teachable moments with him. In order for that to happen, someone actually has to be willing to learn.
