NCIS: New Orleans season 5 premiere spoilers: Mark Harmon appearing
We should note that Harmon is not the only important guest star in the season 5 premiere, which is going to feature Pride (Scott Bakula) in jeopardy after the shooting at the end of season 5. You’re going to see at least a couple of other people important in his life.

“See You Soon” – While Pride fights for his life in the ICU, the team scours the city for the hit woman who attempted to assassinate him, on the fifth season premiere of NCIS: NEW ORLEANS, Tuesday, Sept. 25 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Guest stars include Mark Harmon as NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, Chelsea Field as Rita Devereaux and Shanley Caswell as Laurel Pride.
It obviously makes sense to bring back Laurel and Rita for this episode — if Pride’s life is on the line, why wouldn’t you bring in some of the people who mean the most to him? We do think that he’s going to find a way to survive this shooting, but we do like that the series isn’t just doing some sort of massive time jump where everything that happened in the finale is forgotten about and it’s back to business as usual. (We figure there will be a time jump eventually, but it’s not an immediate one.)
