Bull season 3 spoilers: Carolyn McCormick set to play new judge
According to TVLine, Carolyn McCormick (who has appeared across the Law & Order franchise) is going to be appearing on the Michael Weatherly series moving forward in the role of “an authoritative, tough, seasoned, fair-minded judge who doesn’t tolerate a lot of drama in her courtroom.” Basically, this doesn’t sound like the sort of judge who Dr. Bull really wants to deal with, mostly because they are the sort who will shut down any major shenanigans that he tries to do in the courtroom. Because of the nature of his business — which involves manipulating people in the courtroom up to the last second — he likes to be able to mix things up and stir the pot a little bit in order to achieve his desired results.
While this may not be the best news in the world for Jason Bull, personally we’re all for the idea of getting to see him face yet another challenge. The more opportunities that we get to see this, the better off that the show is going to be. Granted, you can also make the argument that Bull doesn’t necessarily need any more challenges given what he went through at the end of this past season — he’s still recovering from his heart attack and that’s going to be probably something that occupies at least some of his time moving forward — or at least it should, since otherwise he is not going to be someone who is really able to recover at all. We want there to be drama, but also the best for him.
