America’s Got Talent results: Did The Sacred Riana, We Three advance?
Let’s just start off here by saying this: We’re not sure that we would have put Quin and Misha, the Golden Buzzer choice, through to the next round at all. There’s a lot of talent there, but it’s not altogether original beyond Quin’s age and her story. (You can see more of our take here in the video below — subscribe to CarterMatt on YouTube for more.)
Since we can’t change that, there are six spots remaining. We’d give it them, personally, to Riana, UDI Dance Group, Savitsky Cats, Fratelli Rossi, Noah Gurthrie, and We Three. It was a tough choice between the latter and Oliver Graves, but we think they have a better shot at actually winning.
Take a look below at some of the acts who were officially put through to the next round.
Savitsky Cats – We feel like they couldn’t really celebrate as much as they wanted to because they were holding cats in their hands.
PAC Dance Team – Was this a move to please their social-media followers? Maybe, but they do deserve it — they are creative, and we value that in a dance team more than anything after seeing so many of these over the years.
Sacred Riana – It has to be hard to continue not being excited after learning that you are going forward to the next round.
UDI Dance Group – This was ultimately a given since these guys are completely fantastic at what they do. To us, putting them forward was a no-brainer.
We Three – The singing group is making it to the next round!
Noah Guthrie – The same goes here! We are glad someone who’s been doing this a while makes it into the live shows. You don’t get that every season.
There were some surprises tonight, whether it be Jeffrey Li or Fratelli Rossi.
