Succession episode 10 (finale) spoilers: ‘Nobody Is Ever Missing’
There isn’t really a whole lot of information out there just yet about the finale, which seems to be mostly a function of just timing more so than anything else. HBO has a tendency to release information about their episodes on a monthly basis, and because Succession episode 10 airs in a new month, there isn’t any more information out there about it just yet. Hopefully, that is something that is going to change over the coming coming days, given that the only news we have is the title for the episode: “Nobody Is Ever Missing.” How cryptic is that?
What we do wonder entering this episode is how fondly the first season will be looked back on after the fact. The ratings are solid and the show does already have a season 2 renewal behind it; yet, at the same time it does feel as though there aren’t anywhere near enough people talking about this show. It feels, ultimately, like there should be so much more attention around it. It feels almost like Billions, another show that features big business as a talking point. Occasionally, it does get mentioned for some awards but for one reason or another, it doesn’t end up pulling through for nominations.
Nonetheless, if Succession ends up becoming the HBO version of Billions, we have a hard time thinking that anyone at that network is going to mind. Billions is one of those shows that feels like it could go on for six or seven seasons, at least.
