The Originals season 5 episode 13 (series finale) spoilers: Keep Hope alive
For the sake of “When the Saints Go Marching In” airing next week, the biggest thing that you should expect is some closure. This is meant to be its own series with its own ending; don’t necessarily think about what’s coming up on the other side, since for so many characters — including Klaus — this could very well be the end.
The Originals season 5 episode 13 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below offers up some other news regarding just what you can expect to see:
ALWAYS AND FOREVER – Intent on saving Hope’s (Danielle Rose Russell) life, Klaus’ (Joseph Morgan) plan will change the lives of the Mikaelson family forever. Daniel Gillies, Charles Michael Davis, Riley Voelkel and Yusuf Gatewood also star. Lance Anderson directed the episode with teleplay by Jeffrey Lieber and story by Julie Plec (#513). Original airdate 8/1/2018.
Going into this episode, the one thing that we’re actually expecting, morbid as it may sound, is death. It’s just hard to anticipate anything else with this series since it has built itself, by and large, around death. While we think that the majority of the characters are going to make it to this final episode, who knows what we are going to see on the other side of it.

Not quite. A few seasons back they were trying to kill Klaus and used the witches to separate him from his line. It was successful. They won’t die if he does.

If Klaus dies, his entire line will die with him of which Katerina Petrova was one. This means even Caroline will die as Katerina was the one who turned her. What gives?
