America’s Got Talent results: Did Duo Transcend, Patches make live shows?

America's Got Talent season 13

Tonight, America’s Got Talent brought you the first Judge Cuts show of the season, and with that, also the first results at the very end! Only seven acts can get through to the live shows, and that includes the Golden Buzzer act Voices of Hope.

There were a few acts going into the results that felt like locks, whether it be Duo Transcend (even with that scary fall at the end), Us the Duo, or Mochi — they were all unique and exceptional tonight. Beyond that, there were a number of different directions that the show could have gone. Remember that there is still a chance, even beyond this, that some of these acts could return down the road. There is a history of wild cards with this show!

Here are the acts joining Voices of Hope moving forward…

Junior New System – They were a super-strong dance crew tonight, and they also do something different with the heels that we haven’t seen before. They were almost a no-brainer.

Us the Duo – Given that these two are one of the few musical acts with a chance of a big career after the fact, we also think that this was an appropriate choice.

Mochi – Like we said, this was one that was easy to see coming … but seeing his emotional reaction to the news was even better than we expected.

Duo Transcend – Even with that scary drop, the judges decided that they were still talented and strong enough to have a place in the next round.

Aaron Crow – Hey, he actually smiled! We do think, at least for American audiences, he does something that is innovative and refreshing.

Christina Wells – Did we think that she was the best tonight? No, but she did have a really wonderful reaction to the news after thinking that she was going to go home.

Probably the biggest snub tonight is Daniel Emmet, the opera singer who really should have found a way to keep going this season. The guy has Josh Groban upside!

What did you think about the America’s Got Talent results tonight, and do you think that the right acts went through to the live shows? Share in the comments!
