Queen of the South season 3 episode 4 preview: Teresa starts anew in Arizona

Queen of the South season 3 episode 4 is going to be a very different story with an extremely different flavor, and all things considered, we really cannot say that we are surprised. Given that Teresa is in the position that she is, she’s someone who, at least to a certain extent, is always going to be on the run. She’s looking for a better sense of permanence and, more so than that, a little bit of safety. Our hope here is that as this installment goes along,

Teresa flees Europe and starts fresh in Phoenix, Arizona, where she must deal with a commission of cartel bosses and a corrupt local sheriff.

Basically, in reading this the thing that we are reminded of almost instantly is the fact that for Teresa, there really is no one place where she can actually “start fresh.” Because of her history and her line of work, we don’t really think that there is any particularly way in which for her to look ahead towards the future. Not only that, but we don’t think that she would be able to steer clear of it for long even if she really wanted to. This is really wired into her DNA at this particular point. It’s the biggest thing that she knows how to do and because of that, it’s hard to imagine a situation in which we imagine anything changing.

By the end of this episode, we are hoping that we’ll get a chance to still see whether or not Teresa is going to stay in Arizona for the long-term. It’s definitely an interesting to think to watch out for over the course of the hour.
