This Hawaii Five-0 – LEGO animation may blow your mind
If you look below, you can see via Ultimate Bricks a version of the show (or at least an older version of, as this one has Chin and Kono) made entirely out of LEGO figures and stop-motion animation. It’s a fun tribute to the show and a fun expression of creativity — really, it’s something that we wish there was even more out there within the internet. It’s fun promotion for TV shows and a real way to showcase fandom.
Also, we feel like there are some people out there who would buy Hawaii Five-0 LEGO if they were actually on sale. We do think that there has been a good rise in show merchandise the past year already, especially some of those McDanno’s Bar & Grill shirts that were sold after they debuted on the episode. That was a case that popularity came out of nowhere and CBS was quick to get some of them on their official site.
New episodes of Hawaii Five-0 will premiere on CBS this fall. We wouldn’t mind seeing the show break form and doing some other fun stuff coming in the future — even if going into LEGO form is probably a little bit of a reach for the show itself. Isn’t that what fun videos over on YouTube are really for? We like to think so.
