Instinct episode 10 preview: Sutton Foster guest stars!

For those of you who love Younger or even Bunheads, way back in the day, you may be rather thrilled that Sutton Foster will be coming on board Instinct for episode 10 next week. Her character is that of a big-name author who is involved in a traumatic event, but she somehow survives it … which leads, of course, to an investigation by Dylan and Lizzie. Consider this one of the few times this season where the victim of the crime is not actually dead.

“Bye Bye Birdie” – When Celia Baxter (Sutton Foster), a successful author, is almost killed in her home, Dylan and Lizzie’s suspect list includes several people who may have held a grudge as she rose in stature in the publishing world. Also, Lizzie gets closer to learning the truth about the death of her fiancé, who was killed while undercover, on INSTINCT, Sunday, June 3 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Here’s a fun bit of Instinct trivia for you — Foster is not the first cast member from Younger to appear on the show! Previously, Peter Hermann also guest-starred in an episode earlier this season. Beyond Foster, Whoopi Goldberg will also be coming back in this episode in her recurring role as Dylan’s publisher. We imagine that in many ways, Dylan’s job is a trade-off for her. While she may appreciate some aspects of it, including the fact that it can offer up more material and insight in regards to the criminal mind, she is probably not so much a fan of what this does to his schedule. In between solving murders and his touching, how is it possible to even cram anything else in? We’re not altogether sure that it is.
