Poldark season 4 spoilers: Eleanor Tomlinson’s tease for Demelza, Ross

Do you want to get a good sense as to what’s coming for Ross and Demelza on Poldark season 4? We should kick things off by saying this: There are going to be many different opportunities coming up to see these two in a better place than before! Ross’ past with Elizabeth seems to finally be behind him and beyond that, it seems as though everything between Demelza and Hugh Armitage is now in the past. There is a real shot that everyone now has to move forward and that is something to be embraced. If nothing else, it feels like a pretty solid foundation before things inevitably worsen down the road — we have a hard time imagining that there is ever going to be a season that is completely devoid of conflict.

In setting up the story of the season at the moment per Digital Spy, here is some of what Eleanor Tomlinson had to say on the subject of what’s coming next:

“She realises what she’s got and she’s not interested in a life of cheating or affairs. She loves Ross. So it’s them taking their relationship on, and recovering from the pain they have caused each other and rebuilding their lives together. They find the heartbeat of their relationship … [Ross and Demelza] can’t live without each other. This series is them coming together.”

This is going to be a season coming up in which Ross needs Demelza far more than ever before, especially given the fact that he is going to be spending much of his time off in the city working within the realm of politics. This is a life change that was prompted at the end of season 3 but with him doing that, it is going to mean in turn that Demelza is going to be spending more of her time making sure the home stays afloat and taking care of matters that Ross cannot. They will be unified in their efforts in a way that should make fans happy — let’s just how along the way that there are still good moments for the two to spend together.
