NCIS: Los Angeles season 10 premiere date for LL Cool J, cast

NCIS: Los Angeles season 10 premiere date

Following tonight’s finale, what is the NCIS: Los Angeles season 10 premiere date going to be? Over the course of this article, we’ll do our best to pin that down a little bit!

Of course, we should kick this off by saying that there will, in fact, be a season 10 coming up for the series on CBS. This was first confirmed last month when the network did the same sort of standard bulk renewal that they often do with many of their different shows. There was never too big of a reason to be concerned about this show — even with the ratings dropping somewhat for season 9, there was an easily-identifiable reason for that. After all, the ninth season was not the beneficiary of the 60 Minutes / NFL lead-in that it was a year before. It’s now airing an hour later, and often has been led into by shows like Wisdom of the Crowd and Instinct, who have not been able to deliver fantastic numbers. In the case of the latter, though, we did see the ratings at least perform well enough to earn a second season.

Now as for when season 10 will premiere, there is a little bit of variance that can happen with fall shows premiering on Sunday nights for a wide array of different reasons, starting with the fact that CBS may want to start their lineup on the same night as a prominent NFL game to boost premiere ratings. The first episode of season 10 could air potentially as early as late September, or at some point a week or two later. we do think that otherwise, these days are relatively locked-in, especially for a show like NCIS: Los Angeles that also has to deal with the fact that it has so many episodes and also needs to take a substantial hiatus through most of January and February thanks to everything happening there, whether it be the NFL playoffs or some prominent awards shows.

For those wondering, NCIS: Los Angeles is going to air starting at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time in the fall — that much is for sure, and you can visit the official Fall TV Page for more insight on fall schedules for all of the different networks.

As for the long-term future of the series there is still no telling as to whether or not a season 11 will happen — some of that may be based on the ratings, whereas another part of it could depend on whether or not the cast and crew are game to come back for more.
