Teen Choice Awards 2018: Want to support Wynonna Earp, Shadowhunters, other shows?
Want to know how to do it? The tweet below via the network explains. Check it out, and then follow the link accordingly to get more information. We’re never going to be the sort of site who tells everyone how to vote, but we hope that the Teen Choice audience does consider giving some appreciation to some shows that are wonderful and deserving of this attention — we’re talking here about series like Wynonna Earp, Shadowhunters, and Legends of Tomorrow that represent all of the world in 2018 in addition to being hugely entertaining. While they may bring a lot of strange, supernatural stuff to the table, there’s also something incredibly human about the material underneath. There are great performances from start to finish in these shows that alternate between relatable and greatly meaningful.
If we could make some other recommendations, consider the likes of Siren, The Fosters, Agents of SHIELD, Once Upon a Time in its final season, or Supergirl for what is its strongest season on The CW to date. We’re trying to think here in terms of shows with younger audiences as opposed to just every show we love. Also, we want to see nominees who can be influential and help to speak to viewers today with some sort of message.
We imagine that there will be some more coverage of the Teen Choice Awards a little bit later this summer, given that the show does choose to announce many of their nominations in waves. We just wanted to lay the foundation here for what should be ultimately a rather interesting next few months when some of the eventual nominees get chosen.
What are some of the shows you would love to see nominated for the Teen Choice Awards this year? Be sure to share right now in the comments!
