The Poldark season 4 premiere may be coming soon; latest evidence

Poldark season 4 premiere

Are we finally getting closer to learning about a Poldark season 4 premiere date? It certainly seems that way.

For the latest evidence that a specific premiere date may be coming, all you have to do is look at the lineup for the upcoming Graham Norton Show that is set to air on Friday, June 1. According to that schedule (via Digital Spy), Aidan Turner, who of course plays none other than Ross poldark, is going to be one of the guests over the course of the episode. Typically, you have a chance to see actors on television shows do the talk-show circuit close to when their new season premieres.

With this in mind, we do think that there are some practical options coming up in terms of possible Poldark season 4 premiere dates. Take, for example, getting to see Poldark start up on Sunday, May 27. Meanwhile, we also do think that Sunday, June 3 is a possibility as well. Poldark is absolutely going to air on Sunday nights, given that that is the way the BBC has done this over the course of the entire series run. Why change that now when the ratings are doing really well? (Alas, if you’re in America you still likely are going to have to wait until the fall.)

Poldark season 4 is going to have a substantial time jump following the events of season 3 and will show a more political side to its title character than we have seen in the past. Meanwhile, be prepared to see more battles between Ross and George as well as some more relationship drama following everything that happened in season 3 with Demelza and Hugh Armitage.

When it comes to the long-term future of the show, have no fear. Poldark season 5 has already been confirmed, and we have a feeling of production on that is going to start a little bit later this fall.
