Shadowhunters season 3 episode 8 sneak peek: Clary faces trouble

Shadowhunters season 3 episode 8 sneak peek

Moving into Shadowhunters season 3 episode 8 on Freeform Tuesday night, there’s one word we would use to describe Clary’s situation: Troublesome. She has been brought to Alicante and with that in mind, she’s going to face a number of tough questions.

For a good example of this very thing, all you need to do is check out the new sneak preview below courtesy of Freeform! In this clip, you can see Clary being questioned with the help of the Soul Sword, something that certainly still has enough power to executive this act. While there, Katherine McNamara’s character is forced to admit as to why she came to Alicante in the first place, and what that has to do with the Malachai configuration.

Based on everything that we’re seeing in this preview, signs point towards some tough times ahead for Clary, but also for the rest of the heroes from the Institute in general. There is quite a bit on some of these characters’ plates at the moment! Not only do they need to figure out how to ensure their own safety, but they need to also figure out in the process a way to properly stop the Owl, free Jace, and then stop Lilith. There are only a small handful of episodes remaining within the first half of this season, so there is certainly no way of knowing for sure if they are going to be able to pull this off until the second half of the season premieres.

Either way, we imagine that this episode Tuesday will be very entertaining, if for no other reason than that the stakes are high and some of these characters are separated in ways that they haven’t been for most of the season to date.
