The 100 season 5 episode 3 preview: Can Bellamy lead the way home?

Want to know what is coming on The 100 season 5 episode 3? The title for this story is “Sleeping Giants” and at the center of the story is a dramatic search for home — or what some of these characters interpret as home. This is an episode that could show the full extent of Bellamy as a leader now and how far he’s come — the character we’ve come to know now is very much different from the character who was first a part of the show so many years ago.

So what’s going to be Bellamy’s mission in particular over the course of the coming episode? Let’s just say that The 100 season 5 episode 3 synopsis offers up some good insight as to what you can expect to see:

HOME – Bellamy (Bob Morley) leads the charge investigating a potential way home. Meanwhile, Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and Madi (guest star Lola Flannery, “Home Again”) deal with the new, uncertain threat to their home. Paige Turco, Henry Ian Cusick, Marie Avgeropoulos, Lindsey Morgan, Richard Harmon, Chris Larkin and Tasya Teles also star. Tim Scanlan directed the episode written by Aaron Ginsburg & Wade McIntyre (#503). Original airdate 5/8/2018.

What we want to see from Clarke at the moment is rather simple: Her doing basically everything that she can to defend her home. This is the good news for her — she understands her terrain and with that in mind, she is probably better equipped to tackle anything that comes up than just about anyone else. However, how effective she is in some of her efforts here is going to be very much dependent on precisely what she is up against and if she can find some vulnerabilities in taking them down a peg.
