Bull season 2 episode 21 video: Did Elliott Miles, a mute man, commit murder?

Bull season 2 episode 21 is going to be airing on CBS come Tuesday night and it’s not going to take too long in order to understand what makes the case of Elliott Miles different from most others the TAC has taken on over the years.

In the sneak previews below, you get a good sense as to why. Miles is a mute man who is already incarcerated after being accused of murder and, consequently, stealing the automobile of the deceased to get away. (It’s because of the latter offense that he was first brought in to begin with.) While there is a lot of information suggesting that Miles is in fact guilty, we’re seeing here in Bull a man who ultimately refuses to believe that this is the case. He is instead intent on trying to find a way the prove him innocent — Miles claims that he is and that is enough for Jason to volunteer the services of his team for the case.

Now that we have said that, it’s clear that there are many different issues that are present at the heart of this story — namely, we are talking here about this being a very well-known case that is going to get a lot of attention, both good and bad. It’s the sort of case that Bull should have consulted on the team with before jumping in and making a quick decision to take it on. We understand why he would want to do so in terms of his personal belief in the client, but it’s pretty clear that Benny isn’t all to big of a fan of being blindsided.

Benny has a blindside of his own

As the final sneak peek below gives away, Benny is going to be the one to tell Bull within this episode that his ex-wife Isabella is getting remarried. While he should be happy about that in the sense of him no longer owing any alimony, at the same time you can see there’s a part of him that is quite sad over the news. He does care about her even if they’re not together, and they did share an experience together that nobody else can quite understand.

We do wonder if hearing this news will, ultimately, start to cause Bull to start to rethink some of the decisions that he has made over the years. Whatever happens in this episode should carry over almost directly to the finale on Tuesday, May 8.
