Shadowhunters season 3 episode 7 sneak peek: Clary and Jace do battle

Shadowhunters season 3 episode 7

Shadowhunters season 3 episode 7 is coming on Freeform Tuesday night and with that, you better be prepared for a showdown. At the end of this past episode the Institute team started to realize that Jace was the Owl and with that, completely under the mercy of Lilith.

Now, these characters have to be prepared for one of the most dangerous, violent showdowns that we’ve seen between them to date. Before Jace’s transformation he loved Clary; now, he is willing to kill her without hesitation. That’s a big part of the sneak peek below via TV Guide, as you can see Clary battling Jace and potentially losing her life in the process of it.

Through this battle scene it’s pretty darn clear that Clary is holding back to a certain extent — she loves Jace and with that in mind, doesn’t want to kill them. Yet, it’s clear that Jace under his current possession really doesn’t care. He wants to do whatever he needs to in order to achieve his end goal, and for him, it really doesn’t matter what sort of pain he’s going to cause along the way.

Hopefully, someone is going to swoop in at the end of the sneak peek is simply because if they don’t, there is a reasonably good chance that Clary isn’t going to be able to survive this showdown. Over the course of this episode you’re going to have an opportunity to see many of the characters do whatever they can in order to ensure that they can bring Jace back — it’s really a race against time. They have to figure out a way to stop him and save him before they’re left in the position where the worst-case scenario happens and they have to put him down.
