Lucifer season 3 episode 22 preview: Could Chloe change her mind?

Moving into Lucifer season 3 epsiode 22 airing on Fox in just seven days, one thing feels clear: We’re in the darkest timeline for most Deckerstar fans out there. After all, the idea of Lucifer and Chloe not getting together is incredibly depressing, especially given the journey that they’ve been on and the love that is obviously there. The biggest issue at present remains that Chloe is now engaged to Marcus. He finally made a grand gesture at the end of tonight’s episode to prove that he had made a mistake and he wanted to be committed together.

Yet, does Chloe really trust it? Maybe that’s a question that she starts to wonder a little bit now in the aftermath of everything that happened with the proposal. She could’ve been swept away in that moment and now has a little bit more time to actually sit around and think about it. Also, maybe Lucifer is going to get a real opportunity to actually bare his soul to her.

In the immediate future, though, it appears as though our title devil is going to be forced to work on another case — this time with Dan at his side instead of Chloe. We are fine having a little bit of fun with Lucifer and Dan for now, though, mostly because it feels like it’s been a while since Kevin Alejandro had a lot of screen time on the series.

If you do love Lucifer and Chloe, maybe the thought of her changing her mind is a signal flare of hope for your heart. It feels like we need something to serve as a catalyst of change since as of right, maybe Lucifer’s starting to lose a little bit of hope. We’d understand that if we were in his position.
