Blindspot season 3 episode 19 preview: ‘Galaxy of Minds’

Blindspot season 3 returned to the air after a short hiatus last night and for the sake of this article, we’re taking a look ahead at episode 19 — after all, it has one of the greatest episode titles we’ve seen in a rather long time in “Galaxy of Minds.” How cool is that? It sounds almost like the sort of phrase that would be proclaimed in some sort of weird, spiritual self-help confidence. Given some of the content of this episode, we may actually not be all that far off. After all, we’re going to be seeing a conspiracy theorist and some danger start to surface from some surprising places.

Below, the season 3 episode 19 synopsis offers some more news when it comes to what’s ahead:

04/27/2018 (08:00PM – 09:00PM) (Friday) : The team must partner with an oddball conspiracy theorist (Guest Star Christopher Fitzgerald) in order to stop a deadly weapon from getting into Crawford’s hands. Meanwhile, Roman (Luke Mitchell) struggles maintain his personal life with Blake (Guest Star Tori Anderson) while completing a series of secret missions. Also starring Sullivan Stapleton (Kurt Weller), Jaimie Alexander (Jane Doe), Rob Brown (Edgar Reade), Audrey Esparza (Tasha Zapata) and Ashley Johnson (Patterson). Also guest starring Gloria Reuben (Kira Evans), Kristina Reyes (Avery), Michael Drayer (Michael Ganzman), Kathleen McNenny (Camille Moon) and Alex Morf (Surjik Fells) TV-14 V

This episode seems to have some sort of major procedural element to it, not that this should be altogether surprising given where we are in the story at the moment. The larger question that we have revolves around the wide array of stories that are still out there to potentially resolve this season, including Avery and then also whether or not Roman finishes this season in the same place that he’s in right now. (That feels unlikely.) We’ve also still got to see whether or not the show airing on Friday nights in the spring is going to help or hurt its renewal odds. After all, as of right now the show is currently on the bubble.
