Station 19 episode 7 preview: Jack, Ryan feud; Pruitt’s health worsens

What’s coming up on Station 19 episode 7? There are really a wide array of different events that are unfolding, including an opportunity to explore what is a pretty different dynamic than what we’ve seen to date — we’re speaking here, to be specific, of things between Ryan and Jack. They both have feelings for Andy and, to go along with that, they’re both hyper-competitive. The notion of the two butting heads shouldn’t come as a shock. Beyond just that, though, the same goes for what we’re going to be seeing when it comes to the story of Pruitt. We know that he is struggling as of late when it comes to his condition — the same one, of course, that he’s been suffering from ever since the pilot. The problem is that he’s not getting better and him hanging around the firehouse is not helping anything.

Below, the Station 19 episode 7 synopsis offers up some more insight when it comes to the story ahead:

Ryan tags along to a disaster drill training at Station 19 where he and Jack get competitive. Captain Pruitt’s health weakens and Andy is sticking by his side. Meanwhile, both the firehouse crew and police department respond to a strip mall fire, forcing Jack and Ryan to work together.

As we get closer to the end of this season there are absolutely going to be some dramatic storylines that you get a chance to see, with many of them alternating between dangerous fires and then also delicate personal crises. We do hope that by the end of the season the Jack – Andy – Ryan love triangle is somewhat resolved, if for no other reason than that love triangles, if they last too long, could be a little bit tiresome and you want to see the show remain exciting, fresh, and fun.
