Shadowhunters season 3 episode 6 preview: Clary, Magnus team up

When Shadowhunters season 3 episode 6 airs on Freeform next week, it’s going to be clear right away that there are many issues that our heroes are going to take on. Following the attack by Lilith, Clary especially is going to know that time really is of the essence.

With that in mind, what better way to try and resolve a crisis than by teaming up with someone in Alec who knows a thing or two about tackling said crises? While he may not have experienced anything quite like what’s going on with Lilith, he does have centuries of knowledge that should prove rather useful. They’re going to have to do most of their work together this time without Jace, who is currently incapacitated (though they don’t exactly know what’s actually going on with him). Be prepared for this to be a rough road for the two of them as they do everything within their power to figure out how to weather some of the storms to come.

Below, the Shadowhunters season 3 episode 6 offers up some more insight regarding what is coming up:

Clary teams up with Magnus to investigate a recent demon attack. Simon is stunned with he’s visited by someone he never thought he’d see again, and who now won’t seem to leave. Meanwhile, Izzy worries about dinner with her family and a special guest and Luke reaches out to Maryse. (Guest starring Anna Hopkins and Chai Hansen)

We do think that this episode will be ripe with some interesting personal stories for Izzy and Simon, but at the same time we are still absolutely transfixed on the Lilith story — which makes sense, given that this is the sort of thing that could impact everyone. We also hope that in the midst of everything Magnus is doing with Clary at the moment, he does find a little bit of room in order to continue to have some sort of conversations with Alec. Their relationship is in a little bit of a tough patch, but they love each other and it feels like it’s easily something that they will work through.
