Harvey is forced into a difficult decision when the impossible is asked of him. Mike and Rachel try to make time to discuss their future. Louis struggles with the rules of his relationship.

When it comes to the Louis Litt story, we can really sums things up in one simple way: Happiness. This is a guy who has been through so much and while some of his wounds are self-inflicted, we do think that sooner or later he deserves a chance to actually move forward with a bit of joy. Maybe this season offers up that opportunity … though we do think that meddling in other relationships is not the healthiest way in which to do so. (Has Louis ever really chose the healthiest option for himself, though?)

By the end of the season, we know that there are a few different things that we want to see, whether it be Donna and Harvey together, Mike and Rachel happy, and the firm on the way to some sort of place in which it can possibly survive. Suits season 8 is going to bring some pretty big changes with it; our only hope with this is that the series does figure out some ways to organically build towards that so that the end of the season / the start of next season do not prove to be so jarring.

(Remember, Suits also does have one other priority that they are going to address: Trying to figure out a way to introduce the Jessica Pearson spin-off show. There are so many different things that the show has to juggle at the moment that we absolutely have sympathy for show creator Aaron Korsh as he tries to figure all of this out.)
