Madam Secretary season 4 episode 17 preview: ‘Phase Two’; Henry’s new offer

When Madam Secretary season 4 episode 17 airs on CBS in one week’s time, there is going to be one thing that you’re going to see right away: An arms deal in serious peril. Deals with Iran are probably more relevant than they’ve ever been, especially since we’ve heard about them on a few different occasions over the past couple of years. You have basically a number of strong-willed countries who don’t always have the utmost interest in working together, trying to come up with a proper solution. If Iran is finding a way to move things in a corrupt way that violates the deal, it’s going to be trouble — big trouble. That’s the foundation for the upcoming “Phase Two.”

“Phase Two” – Senator Morejon (José Zúňiga) puts phase two of Elizabeth’s U.S./Iran arms deal in jeopardy when he asserts that Iran funneled money from phase one of the deal to fund a recent bombing that killed an American citizen. Also, Henry mulls over the option of becoming the chairman of the new military ethics department at the National War College, on MADAM SECRETARY, Sunday, April 8 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Following this episode, there is going to be a repeat for the week so that CBS can air the Academy of Country Music Awards.
