MacGyver season 2 episode 19 preview: Dawn’s big return

MacGyver season 2 episode 19 will be coming your way on CBS in one week’s time, and it’s going to feature the return of Amy Smart as Dawn! This character was so much fun when we first saw her and we’ve got every reason in the world to think that she will be fun again. If nothing else, we’re looking forward to her and Jack Dalton trading barbs once again.

The MacGyver season 2 episode 19 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below gives you a little bit of a better sense as to what’s coming:

“Benjamin Franklin + Grey Duffle” – As Mac and the team investigate the suspicious death of Dawn’s (Amy Smart) CIA supervisor, the evidence leads to a dirty CIA agent and a massive counterfeiting ring, on MACGYVER, Friday, April 6 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

This episode obviously sounds like it’s got a pretty big action component to it, but beyond that CBS isn’t exactly revealing a whole lot of information when it comes to anything else. Given that we’re getting close to the end of the season, we imagine that we are going to get a few more surprise twists and turns with just about every episode. MacGyver is not a show that likes to reveal everything at once; after all, we’ve already been handed down a few other twists on an almost-weekly basis with this show. There are only a few more weeks remaining until we get to the finale, and that of course is when we start to expect things to really become escalated. It wouldn’t be a good finale otherwise!

As for Amy Smart, hopefully on the other side of this episode there are going to be a few more opportunities to see her and this character in action.
