Hawaii Five-0 season 8 Finale Forecast: The best way to wrap the story up (for now)
So what do we want to see? That’s the focus of this article!
1. The Adam of it all – We should note that it’s pretty unlikely that Adam will still be on the show for the finale. Because Ian Anthony Dale has another gig, he is going to have to leave Hawaii Five-0 before the end of the season. That’s something that show executive producer Peter M. Lenkov confirmed to CarterMatt earlier this year.
2. Steve and Danny’s restaurant – While it’s still a little too early to know whether or not this is actually going to come to pass, we do think that it would be fun if the season ended with the two characters doing some sort of soft opening for the new place — even if it’s just for a few people. They can open, hire a staff, and then revisit it here and there throughout the ninth season.
3. A high-octane case – Finales over the years have brought a lot of drama to the table, and we absolutely expect that this one will offer up the same sort of high-stakes storytelling with plenty of action and peril.
4. A moment for Junior and Tani – They’ve been established as the series next great ‘ship and while it doesn’t seem as though the two characters are at the point of being an item just yet, we do think that they are going to get there. This could be a foundation for it.
5. A cliffhanger – There should be something to get us excited about season 9, whether it be the arrival of a new villain or leaving some characters’ fates in jeopardy. We think cliffhangers can be fun and exciting and we certainly imagine that it is going to be the case here.
