Wynonna Earp season 3 officially coming summer 2018, not that this is a surprise
How was this news confirmed? Basically by us wandering around WonderCon in Anaheim earlier today! We took a quick snap below a poster for the upcoming third season (see below), and on it, at least the part you can see away from our noggin, you can gleam that the show is coming back “summer 2018.”
This news is largely a given in that this is when the second season of the series aired; yet, it was never guaranteed. For starters, season 1 technically premiered in the spring and given that season 3 started filming a little bit later than season 2, it was always possible that it could have been held for a little while longer until the fall. We suppose that it is still possible that season 3 could premiere later in the summer, such as in July or August. Summer does, after all, encompass quite a lengthy period of time!
No matter when Wynonna Earp season 3 ends up premiering one thin does still feel nonetheless quite clear: This is going to be a great opportunity in order to see a fantastic story with some action, new characters, and of course plenty of humor. It has one of the best leads on television, one of the best ‘ships out there in Wayhaught, and to go along with that a narrative that both touches on the original Western legacy of Wyatt Earp while morphing it into something that is rather new and exciting.
