Wynonna Earp season 3 spoilers: Chantel Riley cast in recurring role
According to TV Junkies, Chantel Riley (Frankie Drake Mysteries) is going to recur in the role of Kate. (Riley has herself confirmed the casting on social media.) The character has been described as “bold and sophisticated” and then also “sensual and deadly” to go along with that. She’s someone who has spent an extreme amount of time on a manhunt, really to the extent that it’s much of all she knows at this point in her life. With that in mind, she turns up in the main Wynonna Earp setting of Purgatory in order to find and track down her target for good.
So who is her target? That’s one of the biggest mysteries out there at present when it comes to her character, but judging from the nature of the role and it being recurring, we don’t think that Kate is a character who Wynonna, Waverly, or anyone else is going to be able to shake off right away. Watching this story play out is one of the things that we are the most excited about when it comes to the upcoming batch of episodes.
Remember, Palmer and Riley are just two pieces of the overall casting puzzle; recently, CarterMatt also reported that Reign alum Megan Follows has been cast to play the part of Wynonna’s mother for the series.
