Criminal Minds season 13 spoilers: An unusual bond strikes up
So what’s coming up in terms of interesting bonds next between some of these characters? It may not be anything more than a friendly bond / some common ground, but it seems as though Penelope and Matt are going to find something interesting to bond over in one upcoming episode directed by Matthew Gray Gubler: Clowns. Here is some of what Kirsten Vangsness had to say on this subject in an interview with TVLine:
“When we’re breaking down the case, [Agent Simmons] talks about how he’s afraid of clowns, and there was an episode years ago where Garcia said she hates clowns — because once at a birthday party a clown honked her breasts. So we have a little moment where without saying anything, I’m like, ‘I hate clowns too!’”
As a whole we imagine that this episode will freak out many of you out there who aren’t too fond of clowns and that is probably the intention. Personally, we’ll probably be one of the out there who won’t really mind it. Remember when clowns were just thought of as silly/entertaining and not actually scary at all? Those really were the days, now weren’t they? It seems almost like forever and a day ago.
