Top Chef: Colorado finale preview: Who should win?
Adrienne Cheatham and Joe Flamm are the two contestants who advanced to the final round, and with that they faced just about all of the pressure in the world. These two chefs are tasked with basically creating the best four-course meal of their entire lives. It’s that simple. If they make the best meal, they win.
What’s a little bit interesting about the preview that Bravo showed tonight was that it really set the stage for an Adrienne win. They showed Joe in the midst of a panic over his food, and we didn’t see his competition suffering anywhere close to the same amount of trouble. She actually seemed to be doing okay, and that suggests to us good things — though this could easily be some sort of dramatic fake-out.

In the end, it seems as though both chefs are going to impress the judges, really to the point where one of the judges may say that this was some of the best food that they’ve ever had over the course of the entire series. That’s a pretty huge statement to make! It’s hard for us to tell from the outside if that is true, but we’re absolutely interested in seeing some of these chefs raise their game after being subjected to criticism over their food for a good percentage of the season so far from the outside. We don’t think that the food has been lackluster this season by any means; the only real issue is the simple fact that there wasn’t just one dominant challenger the entire season or someone who took enormous risks with their food.
