The Bachelor finale spoilers: Will Arie Luyendyk Jr. pick Becca Kurfin, Lauren Burnham?

Bachelor Rose Ceremony

Are you ready for The Bachelor finale to come on ABC next week? It’s the final opportunity for Arie Luyendyk Jr. to decide between two different women in Becca Kurfin and Lauren Burnham. He’s got a strong relationship between two of them but he can only choose one — and all signs point to a dramatic conclusion. As a matter of fact, all signs point towards this being one of the most dramatic conclusions in the show’s history.

(Yes, we know that this is an overused statement, but in this particular instance we do think that this statement actually makes a certain degree of sense.)

So why could this finale be different than some others? Well, it starts with the sheer idea that Arie may be indecisive in his decision — he’s already said that he is in love with both women and just that alone could suggest that he could have some trouble figuring that out. There’s also the heartbreak that Caroline seemed to suggest was coming at the Women Tell All — we do think in some cases that production would frown on some sort of semi-spoiler coming out like that, but in this case it’s almost the perfect bait for there to be this ominous warning lingering out there. You know that something shocking is coming, and the next order of business is just sitting around and waiting to see precisely what that something is / how it’s going to play out.

No matter what happens, is Arie going to go down as one of the worst Bachelors ever? Maybe. It feels like he’s gotten better as time has gone on, but it feels like to date he’s hitting just about every single reality TV trope in the world time and time again. There hasn’t been too much that’s been new or refreshing coming from him so far this season.
