The Alienist episode 6 preview: ‘Ascension’ and the new plan

The Alienist episode 6

Are you ready already for The Alienist episode 6 to come onto TNT? We know that we are, especially since there’s potential for there to be so much more with this series than what we’ve already received.

Unfortunately, at the moment having to wait is a big part of the struggle. There are seven days to come, but all signs point towards this episode (entitled “Ascension”) being one of the strongest ones that we’ve had a chance to check out to date.

If you do want to get a little bit more insight when it comes to the journey ahead, be sure to check out The Alienist episode 6 synopsis below:

The team hatches a plan to catch the killer. Moore (Luke Evans) checks in on a friend. Kreizler (Daniel Brühl) faces his own self-doubt about the investigation. Roosevelt (Brian Geraghty) attends an event with the city’s elite. Sara (Dakota Fanning) looks into Kreizler’s past. Connor (David Wilmot) acts on impulse.

Basically, we’re going to take some pretty significant steps within this episode, but along the way we also imagine that there are going to be a few other surprises along the way. We’re certainly in the home stretch of the season and with that comes some other likely surprises.

The latest The Alienist ratings

Remember that there’s still a chance that there could be another season of the show regardless of what it was originally billed at.

This past episode ended up generating in total a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic, which is about even with what the show drew a week before. It actually improved in total viewers! What’s great about this is that we’re getting a golden opportunity to see some stability now, and that could mean in turn an opportunity to see some more great stories in the future. TNT does still have a good bit of time in order to figure out the series future.
