Poldark season 4 Valentine’s Day teaser offers Ross, Demelza romance

A new Poldark season 4 teaser has arrived courtesy of Valentine’s Day, and it does a very good job of emphasizing one of the things the series does best: Romance. While this series is not completely a love story, Ross and Demelza are a key component in much of it.

Let’s start here with a reminder of where season 3 ended: With Ross and Demelza very clearly on the rocks, struggling with communication and how to find the right way to move forward. These two characters have some major issues to work through, but this preview does a very good job of one thing above all else: Presenting hope. It gives you a sense that these two are going to find a way to move forward, though there may also be more issues that they have to overcome. There’s no way of knowing if Hugh Armitage is going to be going anywhere in the near future, just as there is also no way to know precisely if there’s going to be a way for Ross to actually be honest and upfront with his wife. He was be leaving his infidelity in the past, but that doesn’t mean that he is putting himself in a position to have a healthy and strong relationship in the future.

There are certainly other relationships on Poldark, whether it be the one between Dwight and Caroline or the hopeful one with Drake and Morwenna. In the end, though, Romelza is the Poldark ‘ship many people keep coming back to.

Poldark season 4 doesn’t have a firm premiere date as of yet, but all signs point towards it coming on the air in the late spring / early summer. Hopefully, there are many exciting teasers coming up in the near future that give you more of a sense of story.
