Super Bowl trailer hopes: Avengers: Infinity War, Incredibles 2, Jurassic World, more
While there are many brands out there who are releasing some of their commercials in advance of the game to build a little bit of hype, this is not something that we’re seeing much at all when it comes to the feature film business. They know that they can drive more buzz (and social-media buzz) by premiering their trailers during the big game. In some cases, not all of the trailers are even confirmed.
Some of the biggest rumored trailers entering tonight include Avengers: Infinity War, The Incredibles 2, and possibly even Solo: A Star Wars Story given that its premiere is coming very soon. We expect to see Black Panther, A Wrinkle in Time, and some other releases coming soon. Jurassic World: Forgotten Kingdom seems to be a sure thing, and there be a new Mission Impossible trailer given how much that Tom Cruise has been hyping some of that up over on Instagram. There’s also been plenty of buzz about the Cloverfield follow-up God Particle, which could be heading over to Netflix.
What we’re going to do with this article is rather simple: Over the course of the entire night, we will be posted new trailers in this article as they start to come in. Be sure to bookmark this page and come back throughout the night.
Also, while you’re at it be sure to visit the link here to see our ongoing reviews of most of the Super Bowl commercials highlighted tonight. It feels a little bit strange to grade the trailers since we’re talking here about incomplete products. Also, we learned from Spider-Man 3 that you can make a great trailer even if your movie is not any good.
