Supernatural season 13 episode 13: More on Danneel Ackles appearance

Supernatural season 13 episode 13 is going to have a chance to do and offer something that the CW series really should have offered a long time ago: An appearance from Danneel Ackles. We’re shocked that it took this long for the series to land her for a guest appearance; this may have just been the case of either her or producers waiting in order for the perfect role to come up. We’d obviously like it to be one where she can appear more down the line in addition to an appearance to kick things off.

This aforementioned episode is entitled “Devil’s Bargain”; the Supernatural season 13 episode 13 synopsis is chock full of details about what is coming both for her role and beyond:

DANNEEL ACKLES GUEST STARS – Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Castiel (Misha Collins) search for Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino) who, meanwhile, strikes an unlikely deal with a local faith healer named Sister Jo (guest star Danneel Ackles). Asmodeus (guest star Jeffrey Vincent Parise) inches closer to finding Jack (Alexander Calvert). Eduardo Sanchez directed the episode written by Eugenie Ross-Leming & Brad Buckner (#1313). Original airdate 2/8/2018.

The hope here would be that there will be an opportunity to see Ackles work alongside her husband — it’d be especially fun if they are adversaries of each other in some way.

Also, we’re just happy to see Castiel getting more involved again! While we’ve come fairly used to the concept of Misha Collins popping in and out of the series, at the same time we do like to get a few substantial arcs for him per season where he actually turns up and then sticks around for a while.

This episode may need to satisfy for a little while longer than your standard episode of the show, if for no other reason than that there’s going to be a repeat airing on February 15. While Supernatural and The CW in general are having a little bit of bravery in airing opposite the Olympics, at the same exact time they’re taking at least a one-week hiatus in the process.
