One of the things that we definitely should note here is that while the hiatus next week should prove frustrating to some out there, there is a silver lining: We’ve been rather blessed in that there isn’t really all that many repeats that we’ve seen throughout the year. The break this time around is only one week; hopefully, in that time some fans who are behind will get a chance to catch up so that they can check out some more stories later.

“Contamination” – Hondo and the SWAT team join forces with the FBI on a manhunt to find members of a militia group planning a domestic terror attack by weaponizing cyanide. Also, as Jessica’s new police initiatives with Michael Plank (Peter Facinelli), president of the police commission, move forward, she braces herself for the negative impact the plans could have on her relationships within the department, on S.W.A.T., Thursday, Feb. 1 (10:00-11:00, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Obviously, SWAT episode 12 is going to be a big one, especially for the Jessica character as she finds herself unfairly treated over her relationship history. Why is this happening to her? Well, that could make for one of the meatier stories this epiosde.

As for what’s coming for Hondo, it’s pretty darn clear that there will be a great story coming for him. It’s one that will really emphasize one of the things that we’ve come to expect from this show: Relentless action and plenty of drama.

Following this episode, you better be prepared for another SWAT hiatus — really regardless of whether or not you want one. There will be a longer break for the show coming during the Winter Olympics. On the other side of that, though, you’ll be able to check out an array of episodes throughout the spring.
