Scandal season 7 episode 8 spoilers: The meaning of ‘Robin’
If you recall, the Scandal winter finale ended with the heavy implication that Rowan murdered Quinn Perkins following a tense stand-off with Olivia Pope. If this truly happened, it’s a pretty devastating move given that this is the final season and she’s one of those people we wanted to see until the very end. We still refuse to believe that Rowan actually killed her, largely because if he did, what was the point of this whole super-elaborate cliffhanger? Why drag all of this out when you really didn’t need to? There’s clearly something fishy about that and this is something we hope to learn and understand more when Scandal season 7 episode 8 airs.
CarterMatt can offer you the Scandal season 7 episode 8 synopsis if you want the slightest of teases surrounding what’s coming up:
“On the midseason premiere, the fallout from Rowan’s desperate act affects all of Quinn’s loved ones, including a guilt-ridden Olivia.”
One of the big things worth noting about what lies ahead on Scandal is that it seems like ABC really wants to drive the remainder of the season forward as rapidly as they can. They know that this is a show predicated on intensity, and it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to stall things out with some of the stories that are coming in the weeks ahead. With that, don’t expect the network to really keep you waiting when it comes to seeing many more episodes beyond this one.
For those wondering about the episode title, “Robin” is presumably a reference to one of Quinn’s many alter egos — this is the sort of title that intentionally seems designed to rile us up in some capacity.
