Scandal season 7 episode 8 spoilers: The meaning of ‘Robin’

Scandal season 7 episode 8 will mark the midseason premiere of the show on January 18 and based on much of the news we have, it seems as though there is some drama coming up. How could there not be given the big cliffhanger that came about at the end of this past season?

If you recall, the Scandal winter finale ended with the heavy implication that Rowan murdered Quinn Perkins following a tense stand-off with Olivia Pope. If this truly happened, it’s a pretty devastating move given that this is the final season and she’s one of those people we wanted to see until the very end. We still refuse to believe that Rowan actually killed her, largely because if he did, what was the point of this whole super-elaborate cliffhanger? Why drag all of this out when you really didn’t need to? There’s clearly something fishy about that and this is something we hope to learn and understand more when Scandal season 7 episode 8 airs.
