Hawaii Five-0 season 8 video: Steve wants to shave everyone’s heads

If you look below, you can see Steve McGarrett doing what he can to pass the time while still quarantined with Danny, Junior, and Tani in the wake of what happened on this past episode. What is he doing? Well … he’s shaving his head. Apparently, playing cards isn’t enough for McGarrett to ease his boredom and he’s taking instead to becoming an amateur barber. First, he puts the clippers on himself — then, he tries to offer his services to Danny and Junior if they so desire. Let’s just say that they are not all that excited by this idea.

We have a feeling that Danny is one of those guys who has a strict “don’t touch the hair” rule. After all, he’s still got it slicked back without a hair out of place even while in quarantine; we have a feeling that if Steve went after it with clippers that one of their signature arguments would turn into a full-blown fistfight.

At some point during the two hours of Hawaii Five-0 on Friday we are going to see the stakes raised for Danny, but it’s not going to have anything to do with Steve and a set of clippers. Instead, he’s going to be targeted by someone who knocks him unconscious. While he’s left fighting for survival, he’ll drift off into a dreamworld where he imagines the future of the entire Five-0 squad. While there are obviously going to be some serious moments in here, this could be one of the funniest episodes of the entire season based on the notion of seeing Steve and Danny even older and therefore even crankier.

Beyond just this episode, you’ll also get a holiday installment that is Danny-focused. The good news is that it’s validation that Scott Caan’s character isn’t actually going to die in the first episode. Our bigger question coming out of it is whether or not some of the things Danny dreams about are things that he is going to try to make come to fruition later on.
