Valor episode 10 return date: When is it back on The CW?
The military drama will be back on Monday, January 1, making it by far the earliest show to return on the network in the new year. (Can you really get any earlier than that?) Many shows are returning on New Year’s Day this year, seemingly as a means to get new programming out there before the Olympics start in February. In the case of The CW with Valor, though, we see things a little bit differently: This move by and large represents them trying to get the final episodes on the air so that they can then move on to some other things.
While Valor has not been officially canceled as of yet, signs point to it not receiving a season 2. The ratings to date aren’t great, and the fact that it even aired an episode tonight without Supergirl suggests that The CW is ready to move on to some other things. We do think that there was some potential here to explore creatively, but the biggest issue Valor has is simply one related to the network in the first place. This is a show that doesn’t mesh all that well with everything else that The CW is airing, and while it does feature a female lead a la Supergirl, the two shows visually and conceptually don’t have all that much in common. We don’t think one did a whole lot else to help the other.
Hopefully, the final episodes of Valor in the new year (pending a surprise renewal) will end up providing some entertaining content for you. The promo definitely makes it seem as though you’re going to see some stories of betrayal and heartbreak — everything that we’ve seen some of the good guys go through so far is going to come to a head.
The Valor finale should air later in January, and we presume that the network will make their official verdict on the show’s future come May.
