NCIS: New Orleans season 4 episode 9 preview: A tricentennial celebration goes south
Unfortunately, when it comes to the NCIS: New Orleans season 4 episode 9 what we’re seeing, at least via the sneak peek below, there is a pall on the celebration. After all, a Navy petty officer has been murdered — seemingly execution-style — leading up to the celebration. It’s a perplexing case thanks in part to the way in which the murder happened, and we’re looking forward to seeing how all of this plays out.
Based on the CBS synopsis for the hour, some of the drama in this episode is going to begin on the subject of characters being, potentially, falsely accused. Some homeless kids are going to find themselves accused of being involved in the case, but Pride will come to their defense. Is he doing that because he’s sympathetic to their plight, or is he doing that because he has some evidence that will point the team in another direction?
The one thing that we’ve certainly come to know over time with NCIS: New Orleans is rather simple: Things are never anywhere near as easy to figure out as they seem. Who wants to bet that this case ends up being a tough one to solve?
At some point during the episode we’re going to have a little fun — X Ambassadors will be stopping by in order to perform. You can check out another preview of this at the bottom of the article. Like most NCIS: New Orleans musical guests, we feel like we’ll be seeing them have a couple of minutes to shine — more than likely they’ll get a nice little sales bump, given that there are millions of viewers who will see them on the show who may not be altogether familiar with them beforehand.
